Hudson Valley Speed Camp FAQ's

1. When Is The Camp?

The Hudson Valley Speed Camp is from July 6 - 10, 2009.

2. What Time Is The Camp?

Gates open at 3:45 P.M. and the camp begins promptly at 4.

3. Where Is The Camp?

The 2009 speed camp will be held in Middletown, NY at the new state of the art Middletown Football Stadium.

4. Who Is The Speed Camp For?

High school athletes ages 14-18 who participate in field sports (football, soccer, baseball,softball,lacrosse,track and field or any other field sports). Athletes who participate in court sports will be accepted, but the camp focuses on speed, agility, and quickness for field athletes.

5. How much does the camp cost?

It will cost $150 to attend.

6. What Do I wear?

You must wear comfortable loose fitting clothing. It is a speed camp, so a lot of running and movement will be involved. Jeans will not be permitted. Nor will any athlete wearing inappropriate clothing. Sneakers must be worn. No boots or grass cleats will be allowed.

7. What Do I Need To Bring With Me?

A towel, extra shirt or change of clothes. Make sure you bring water. It will be supplied, but bring your own.

8. What Is NOT Allowed At The Stadium?

No sports drinks whatsoever are allowed on the track of football field. Water only. Absolutely No Gum!

9. What Happens If There Is Bad Weather?

The coaches will make the decision of whether or not the session for that day will be held. If it is light rain, the session will proceed. If there is thunder, lightning and heavy rain, we will cancel the camp for that day. Do not assume that camp has been canceled if it rains.

10. How Will I Know If Camp Has Been Canceled For That Day?

We will make the decision one hour before the camp. If the session is canceled for that day we will email everyone at 3 p.m.

11. Will Sessions Be Made Up If They Are Canceled?

Yes! We have a few days reserved the following week at the Middletown facility in case we need to make up a session.

12. Are Parents And Coaches Allowed To Watch?

Absolutely! We want the parents and coaches to enjoy the experience as much as you will.

13. Are The Coaches Available For Questions At The Camp?

Coaches will be available to answer any questions before and after each session.

14. Where Should I Check In On The First Day?

All athletes will enter through the main entrance to the stadium. Once you enter, there will be a sign in location available.

15. How Do I Register?
